Payment Terms

Excelarete does not store, access, or process your payment card information. All payment transactions and related personal payment data are securely processed by Stripe, our third-party payment service provider, in accordance with its privacy and security standards.

We only earn money after you do it first. Creating an account, setting up a shop, listing products, and maintaining a presence on Excelarete are free of charge. Excelarete does not charge subscription fees, listing fees, setup fees, or transaction fees.

Instead, Excelarete operates on a commission-based model and retains a commission of 20% on each completed sale made through the platform. If creators choose to receive payouts in a currency other than Euro (EUR), a currency conversion fee of 2.5% may be applied.

All prices set by creators are exclusive of Value-Added Tax (VAT). Depending on the location of the buyer, VAT may be added to the customer's purchase price at the prevailing rate. For example, if a creator sets a product price of €10.00, Excelarete will retain a commission of €2.00, while a customer in Germany will pay €11.90, which includes the applicable 19% VAT.

Creator payouts are processed through Stripe. Payouts are issued within fourteen (14) working days following the end of each monthly billing period. This payout schedule aligns with the statutory withdrawal and reimbursement period available to consumers under applicable law.

A minimum account balance of €20.00 is required before a payout is automatically processed. Payouts are made in Euro (EUR) by default. Creators may elect to receive funds in another supported currency, subject to a 2.5% currency conversion fee.

Consumers located within the European Union may be entitled to a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for eligible purchases in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. However, this right may be waived once a digital product has been downloaded, accessed, or otherwise made available for immediate use, where permitted by law.

Excelarete reserves the right to investigate payment disputes, chargebacks, and refund requests, and may temporarily withhold payouts while such matters are being reviewed.

Depending on the seller's location, business status, and applicable legal requirements, Excelarete may charge VAT on seller fees and remit the collected amounts to the relevant tax authorities. VAT rates are determined based on the tax information provided by the seller as well as the location of the buyer. Excelarete reserves the right to adjust applicable VAT rates where tax information is inaccurate, incomplete, or invalid.

VAT receipts may be provided upon request for eligible business customers.

Where required by law, sales tax or similar indirect taxes may be applied to fees charged by Excelarete. Such taxes will be calculated based on the information provided by users. Users are solely responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date tax and location information and must promptly update their account details whenever changes occur.

Buyers located in the United States and other jurisdictions may be subject to local tax obligations. Creators are solely responsible for reporting and paying any income taxes, social contributions, or other taxes arising from their earnings through Excelarete in accordance with the laws of their country of residence.

Excelarete may be required to collect, verify, and report tax-related information to tax authorities in certain jurisdictions where reporting obligations apply. As creators approach relevant reporting thresholds, they may be required to provide taxpayer identification numbers, legal names, and other tax-related information. Users are responsible for ensuring that all tax information provided is accurate and complete. Failure to provide valid tax information may result in restrictions on selling privileges, withholding of payments, account suspension, adjustments to tax-related charges, or other actions required by applicable law.

To protect the integrity of the platform, Excelarete monitors transactions for suspicious, fraudulent, or unlawful activity. Excelarete reserves the right to freeze, delay, or withhold payouts pending investigation of suspected fraud or other violations of these Terms.

Where fraudulent activity is confirmed, Excelarete may terminate the relevant account, withhold associated funds to the extent permitted by law, and cooperate with law enforcement authorities or regulatory agencies when required.

Excelarete reserves the right to amend or update these Terms of Payment at any time. Creators will be provided with at least fourteen (14) days' advance notice of any material changes. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of any amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms of Payment.
